Areas of application
Automotive applications: As rust and corrosion protection on iron and steel surfaces, especially at welding seams. Ideal substrate for painting. To repair damaged galvanic surfaces and as a primer for and to protect body parts and the entire exhaust system.
Industrial applications: Extremely heat-resistant to approx. 500 °C. Aerosol can makes it simple to use. Ideal for retreatment of welding points and drill holes in continuous manufacturing processes.
Shake can vigorously for approx. 2 min. Spray in thin coats on clean and degreased metal surfaces from a distance of approx. 20-30 cm. Layer thickness of the zinc film dry after a single spraying: 25-35 µm.
Note: Zinc Spray can be painted over, but the large number of paint systems available makes a preliminary self-test essential.
After use, clear spray nozzle (hold can with spray head upside down) by spraying until only pure propellant emerges.
